Yo all. I'm new to this board and all that good stuff . I'm with Alex and Geneticslover. I'm Christian but also evolutionist and I don't have a problem with being both. And elevent, whether you agree of disagree with people, common courtesy would be not to swear and name-call. Especially if you claim to be christian.

As far as I've seen he hasn't claimed a religion at all; even if he does claim to be Christian he's obviously not a good example of our faith. People like him will do no good for casting a better image of our religion.

In reference to your mathematical proof about mutations (chuckle) your argument fails horribly for several reasons.

The first failure is when you use the fallacy of false analogy. You can not compare the sequencing order of flash cards to DNA; they are totally different things. DNA is bound by chemistry, and the rules of chemical bonds prevails. Flash cards are not bound by such rules.

Secondly, your post about the Peppered moth doesn't follow. The mutation is what led to the switches that now exist. Without the mutation, no switch, and you get moths of one color.

Thirdly, you are simply quote mining your information from sites, you aren't providing anything original. What I would like to see is for you to reproduce the results that Yockey uses to get his numbers. The numbers he uses are impressive, but if you don't understand the process in how he got to them, you have done yourself a disservice.

Lastly, probably the worst thing you've done is start this thread from the position that you would know more than the other people you are discussing these things with. It is clear with your initial post that (if you did indeed take biology 111, which I find highly suspect) you picked specific questions, probably prompted by a list found in a creationist pamphlet, to make it seem as if the questions you were asking were indeed stumpers. I doubt that the topic of p53 would have come up in discussion in a 100 level course.

If you want to prepare properly before engaging in a discussion, you should pick more than one source to do your research. Also, while plagiarizing, make sure you remove stuff like "[1]", etc.

Lastly:
Yes, random events can lead to "intelligent design". See for yourself:
1. Search for "swimbots" in Google and download the program to see evolution in action on your desktop, at a really really small scale.
2. Watch "Evolution IS a Blind Watchmaker" on YouTube.
