Polyploidy in Fruit Trees

Postby Cristgonz on Thu Nov 22, 2007 12:44 am

I'm preparing a seminary about "Polyploidy in fruit trees", specially on Prunus and Citrus' trees.
So.. i'm just requesting if you have an additional information about it.
It's basically about colchicine and it effects on the mitosis. i have been searched it on my genetics books and i would like to see if you people have some contributes for my seminary.
Please if someone can help to me, put your name and your university if it is possible, 'cause i'll put it on the "footer" (pie de página).

attentively.

Well, what kind of stuff would you like us to contribute?
I'm sure you know a lot about colchicine and how colchicine effects cells and such.

So if you could narrow down the search, maybe we could add something and be productive a little bit :P

Try more of the effects of colchicine and cell division. Topics on genetically modified organisms(GMO) is nice to include or discuss.
