Clovers

Postby J20gU3 on Mon Nov 12, 2007 11:10 pm

Now I really don't know what to make of this but there is a patch of clovers in my back garden may be about a thousand or so and only about half of them are 3 leaf. Now I asked my Biology professor about it and we got into a detailed discussion and didn't really get anywhere. Anyway about 50% of the clovers in the patch have more than 3 leaves ranging from 3-9 leaf clovers. Does anyone have any idea why this would occur.

wow that's pretty irregular. The 9 leaves would indicate polyploidy to me...
What did the parasitic Candiru fish say when it finally found a host? - - "Urethra!!"
