Acid and gas from lactoseHi everyone!
I am trying to find the appropriate test that will tell me whether my organism makes acid and gas from lactose or not. I looked all over the place and found that a lactose fermentation test would determine that.... just checking in to see if I'm on the right path?? Thanks
just use the lactose broth in the test tube which is also filled with Durham tube. Don't forget to put a methyl red indicator in it.
After incubation for 2-3 days in 37C, if the broth turns yellow, then your bacteria fement lactose. Q: Why are chemists great for solving problems?
A: They have all the solutions.
