I have heard that dolphins are the only other animal that just have sex for pleasure, however... i question the truth in that... like seriously
does anyone know if that is not just a rumor going around?

It's true that dolphins have sex for pleasure. Male dolphins have been observed inserting their penises into the blow-holes of their friends, among other things. Bonobos (formerly known as pygmy chimpanzees) are also known to have sex for pleasure.

However, it is not true that they are the only two critters to mate to the fun of it. Many animals masturbate, showing clearly that sexual behavior is pleasurable for them, and some even engage in homosexual behaviors.

As for the intelligence, I don't think that intelligence can be measured.

I put my vote in for dolphins because many studies show that dolphins are the smartest animal of them all and also because I have read so many true stories about dolphins helping and or saving humans lives.
