Why plants need thinner xylem vessels?


And is summer suitable for the growth of the plant?

Brief:They need xylem for the uptake of many ions, transportation of plant hormone and water.

Plants uptake nutrients from soil by the xulem vessels. The thin vessels can help to uptake nutrients like capillary action.
