Homologous structures are two correlating chromosomes from a chromosome pair.

Hi! If you mean on homologuos organs-organs that have common origin like human arm and bird wing,....
but you must distinguish them from analoguos organs not with same origin eg butterfly's and bird's wing
if you're talking about homologous chromosomes-chromosomes that have same pattern of genes but the nature of genes can be different-alleles. One you inherit from your father and one from your mother
