anytime "green" is used in an environmental sense it means that it doesn't harm the environment.

Green doesn't always mean non-harmful...if used improperly anything could be bad. Think of guano...an organic(green) fertilizer. If used in high enough quantities it'll still cause run-offs and algal blooms in nearby ponds.

It should be a given fact that something is always going to affect something in a negative way if too much of a substance is present. That's why there are limits on the amount to use of items. I was just trying to say that, in general, "green" anything in an environmental sense, when used properly as the directions on the box is stated, will limit the negative affects on the environment.

You should consider how much damage it does and how much does it help the plants. If it boostest production and kills one tree than i think we can live with that

Think about it...
most stuff they put in fertelisers comes from third world countries, and is exported to the western world. Here we can afford to genetically enhance crops, so that even more will grow, and they will repell deceases, which will only grow with "artificial" fertilisers. But there will still be more production. This will result in a drain in resources for the third world countries, because they can't afford all the extra stuff needed to make the plants grow better, and that is combined with the accual export of "ingredients". So conclusion: fertilisers, when imported, will cause a big rift between the western world and the rest.

Also... the world is being wrecked by polluting humans, forever multiplying like a decease on this planet. Destroing the ecosystem and all that. Do you really want to make it possible for more people to be sustained by using artificial fertellisers? Logically... No!

LOL, people in America are running around preaching save rainforests, protect animals etc.....but yet whenever birth control comes up it's infringing upon their rights and I'll bet at least 70% will get angry at the very thought. If I remember correctly, China is the only country that has successfully implemented a national birth control system(over the complaints of american diplomats).

Caus we're selfish we use it.Don't care much for effects or enviroment.I know that there isn't enought food but I'm against use of snthethic fertilizers I'm even against irradiated food.

Right mithril... In China you are allowed to have 1 child. If it is a girl, you are allowed to have another one but 2 is the absolut limit. I always dreamed of recreating photosynthesis artificially, like making a machine that will make glucose from water, co2 and minerals. That would solve everything
