branch formationhi. i skipped through all the questions and i didnt find any answer that would help me with this : how does a branch form? is it from the axillary bud, or do only leaves come from the axillary bud? plus, is the branch meristem equal, and independent from the apical shoot meristem? i know that the apical shoot meristem inhibits some other meristems - but probably not the one in branches right?

Correct
The apical meristem is the same for a branch but this produces the length of the branch (in the terminal bud) for the season.
