natural selectionDo YOU accept the theory of natural selection? And why was it only gradually accepted?
natural selection???....yeah why not?
Also when natural selection was first proposed by Darwin as a mechanism for evolution there was no molecular biology existing at that time that would have allowed him to explain how certain traits are inherited. In addition I think that many evolutionary biologists are now questioning whether or not natural selection is the ONLY evolutionary mechanism responsible for the evolutionary history that can be inferred from fossils and molecular data. There is grandeur in this view of life, with its several powers, having been originally breathed into a few forms or into one from so simple a beginning.....The Origin of Species
really?Really? Gosh. I really cannot think of any other way which you can explain evolution with.
