Gas ExchangeDear Friends,
I do want to know the physiology of Gas Exchange which occurs in our Lungs. Thanks When All DIES Future Still ALIVE!
actually it is a very complex process involving both lung,associated muscles and also hind brain....
explainin it would require a huge space....so it would be very helpful if u may ask about specific physiologies or process in mechanism of respiration....

actually this phenomenon includes participation of lungs, diaphragm and its associated muscles....when you inspire air in,the air is rich in O2 hence the partial pressure of O2 is much more in fresh air owing to which it diffuses into the blood through blood cappilaries after it gets soluble in the mucous layer of alveoli.......simultaneously the gas to be expired is rich in CO2 and hence the partial pressure of CO2(pCO2) is much more in the gas to be expired than the pCO2 in the alveoli.....hence it diffuses out into alveoli from blood through the capillaries and then expired out........i hope u got it....ask me any doubt u face here.....
