Bacterial Enumeration/Sewage sludgewhich of the three methods would i use for sewage sludge?
Most Probable Number Pour Plate Membrane Filter please explain the answer as well. thanks.
If you'r doing a general count, then a Total Plate Count shld be good enough.MPN and the membrane filter are more specific methods.Where differential culture is available/useable MPNcan be used with various methods of improvements depending on the bacteria you're counting.Where MPN cant be used the membrane filter can be used provided you know the sizes if bacteria you're dealing with.
Thats what I think.I didnt get it out of any book.
