Exergonic ReactionSaludos,
Why is it that an exergonic reaction is coinsidered spontaneous (no need of outside energy) when it clearly needs thermal energy to activate the reaction? Thank You, Edher
I think it's because the activation energy needed is very low and can be easily activated from latent heat.

It is spontaneous because once it starts it keeps going on its own - unlike endergonic reactions that need a constant input of energy to keep them going.
