chimeric PCR. How to avoid it?

Hi,

I'd like to ask some advice on how to avoid chimeric PCR artifacts. I'm amplifying using primers from 2 different DNA fragments that have high homology and I sometimes have the PCR jumping across and giving me a chimeric artifact
