how do you reduce lag phase time?In biology experiments, what are some things you can do to reduce the lag phase time....as in the amount of time it spends in lag phase. I'm thinking that warming the test tubes can help, but if so, how? Can somebody actually help me out this time
I guess you are growing the bacteria at 37C, aren't you? So what do you want to warm?
If you are talking about culturing some big amounts e.g. for heterologous protein expression, you may try to use some O/N culture instead of frozen aliquot. http://www.biolib.cz/en/main/
