A cell containing 92 chromatids at metaphase of mitosis would, at its completion, produce two nuclei containing how many chromosomes?
A. 12
B. 16
C. 46
D. 23
E. 92
My reasoning: I picked 92 because mitosis produces two identical daughter cells. If there were 92 chromatids initially, shouldn't there be 92 chromatids (and 46 pairs) in the end?

At metaphase is the genome doubled, not so after the mitosis ;)
