Hi All

Do ISes have promoter? If no, how do they manage to get their transposase transcribed? By chance alone?

Thanks for answer. But may you explain/give link to IS map? In none of study books (MBoC4, Genomes 3, Genes 8, Human Mol. Genetics, Genetics in Medicine ) I found detailed example of map of ISes.
