interpreting a TEMModerator: BioTeam

interpreting a TEMI know this sounds stupid(mainly because it is)
What might a TEM of a drak circle with a lot of white circles in it represent? I have no idea of the magnification, nor have I ever seen the picture. Any imput would be welcome, although I realize it is next to impossible to deduce anything from this description.... "I have no intention of stopping anytime soon. I want to understand the universe and answer the big questions, that is what keeps me going" - Stephen Hawking
Good guess about the next to impossible to deduce. I guess It would be the image of a round thing that take the stain fairly well with other structures taking it much less on it
I won't be more helpful if you do not guess what my qPCR result curve means without further description Patrick

Like i said, i have never seen the picture. If I get a copy, i'll upload it

Soyou were offered the same challenge as us: identify a picture on a quite short description? Nice to share with us. OK my guess: A filter wheel for the world smallest qPCR thermocycler, able to work with nanoliter reactions. Yeah for cheap, but hard to pipette

Re: interpreting a TEMWhat TEM you mean? Is it Transmission electron microscopy (TEM)? TEM is a microscopy technique whereby a beam of electrons is transmitted through an ultra thin specimen, interacting with the specimen as it passes through it.
