Can some one puh-lease help me with describing the crucial role played by coenzymes in biological oxidation-reduction processes. :roll:

If you shift your term from "co-enzyme" to "vitamin" (which are sort of the same things, at least for what sounds like your assignment's orientation), you can find several that are involved in fighting oxidation by free radicals.

NADH is a coenzyme I think, if not FADH is. The other is a cofactor in the redox reactions of the electron transport system
