Kingdom Plantaewhy do some angiosperms have showy flowers whille others have inconspicuous flowers? What does flower type indicate about the plant? if you wanted to farm a plant with showy flowers, name one challenge you would face and explain how you would deal with it.
Conspicuous flowers are means of entomophily, chiroptophily and zoophily (i.e pollination by insect, birds and animals respectively). To attract these organisms its necessary. And in inconspicuous flowers pollination is normaly done by air (anemophily), so showy flower is not required to attract air....
