Bugz!!! I sow here beetls that seems quate similar to yours on the foto!!! And there is (seems to me) in my privite collection.
I think about my master degree now, but at the Israel it is at the entomology is almost (if not at all) impossible. Also, insect are very good objects for evotionary studies! (Where I very intrested)
This beetle from scarabeidae? (I ask, but I, unlike most of people that intrested in insects, not intrested at the names of them)
Oh yes, jast sow this at the google...
What is ni haw and Namaste I don't know

You are doiong well Locus. No matter your country do not have Entomology spe. but you can keep it for later studies after doing your Masters in Evolutionary biology........

Thanks.
About insects I think that there are brilliat groupe for evolution becouse there are many close spesies, almost all insect (exept from locusts) contein relative small amount of DNA, and many insect give rapit generation (of couse there are many exeptions), and, of couse, becouse they are small, this is possible to keep population of them at the one laboratory. (By the way, artifical population this is topik that I have find here for the master work - with drosophyla, but now I am in doube if this lab take me, and if this expirement will work, so I don't know what will be, and there is no athere place for evolutionary biology :( )

Buqz, beetl that on the picture is seems to me from famile Histeridae but also them feeding on dung.

Hi Locus! Nice to see you! We got more asian friends here, that's nice! I m very glad that you like insects too.

Locus you know entomology is also no future in China. I plan to go abroad.

Yeah, this two beetles
are both scarabeidae. Anyway, I like to know the scientific name of all the insects which I see, the insect classifaction is a hobby of mine(but not professional)....

Israel has a famous dung beetle species which is Scarabaeus sacer. This is my favourite species ,but they don't exist in China.
