Of course this would be a lie, because the simple fact that you have posted that suggest more than minimal intelligence. Nevertheless, the post itself is completely devoid of anything that remotely resemble a proof. But I am sure you will correct this very soon, won't you?

There are literally hundreds of other theories, some verging onto psuedoscience. Some people believe that aliens created life on Earth, others believe that life came from a meteorite from space. Hinduism states that life was born out of a "cosmic egg".

These theories are all technically possible and it's likely that your proposed theory has been suggested before. Evolution was suggested by Charles Darwin in the 1800's and was the start of what we now call the "biological revolution". Since then, scientists have looked at many other theories for over a century but we haven't found anything better.

Our species has looked towards the stars since the dawn of mankind and have wondered where we came from. Now, modern science has discredited many past ideas and created many new ones, leaving the origins of mankind the most controversial and mysterious issues ever.

Anyway, if you would like to post a new theory then please feel free to do so.

Evolution existed as a theory long before Darwin. Darwin only proposed the mechanicsm behind it, natural selection. The ancients had a form of evolutionary theory, and one of the most famous early evolutionists was the Catholic theologian St. Augustine. Darwin's contribution was explaining how evolution works, making the theory that much more credible.

Darwin, at the time he wrote his famous books, was a devout Anglican; his later conversion to atheism had more to do with the death of his daughter than with evolution. In Origin of Species, he so often makes reference to the "Creator," as he terms it, that I wonder if I'm actually reading a new translation of the Bible.

What context are you referring to? I'm not disputing any facts regarding evolution, merely stating that at that time Darwin was a devout Christian.

And Although I am not a scientist I have had biology classes and have not become convinced. actualy, the more I learn, the more I am convinced to the contrary.

im not looking for any kind of an arguement, this is just my 2 cents
personally i beleive in creation, but i also beleive that organisms change genetically in order to adapt to there surroundings.
i dont understand how you can get the "big bang" when there wasnt really anything there to begin with, and this is why i beleive that there was some type of intervention in the "beginning". then as time passes and eviroments change so do the inhabitants of that enviroment. otherwise nothing would really be here at this time, life on earth as we know it wouldve become completely extincted, because the inhabitants couldnt cope with the changes.
in a sense yes i beleive things "evolve" SLIGHTLY or change SLIGHTLY in order to see that the population of that group lives on, but i also dont see, or maybe its better said, dont understand how there could be a massive explosion when there wasnt anything there, it all had to come from somewhere, you cant make something from nothing. ive read study's that suggest that in the beginning of time there was nothing more than gasses and dust and certain gasses collided and created the "BIG BANG" and thats how life as we know it started, where did these gasses and dust come from ?
again just my 2 cents, and im no doctor of anything so this is the basic product of my basic knowledge

Here's a question that confuses me to considerable extent. Why is the big bang theory often seen as hostile to religious belief and a product of atheism? I ask this because the theory was first proposed by the Catholic Church with the intent of proving the existence of a creator, so it seems logical - to me at least - that the big bang theory should be seen as at least favorable to religious belief. Anyone care to shed some light on this mystery?
