Whats up, I had my first bio test of the semster, and im freakin out!! im afraid that i got

a lot of the questions wrong..mainly because their was stuff on the test which the

professor didnt lecture on! I am going to type up the questions i wasnt sure about and I want to see how you guys answer

the questions..I wont get the results back until monday and i cant wait that long, so here

Tertiary structure is when the alpha helix folds and forms the specific shape with covalent, ionic and hydrogen bonds

and tertiary is globular, and hydrophobic...thats all i know and she gives me a question like that

Yup...the answer for no.8 is C...secondary structure. While tertiary structure are actions of folding here and there because of many non-boundary forces like hydrophobic interactions, VDW forcecs, certain hydrogen bonding....

Alpha helix is a kinda spiral helix structure formed by hydrogen bonding which is done by the 1st amino acid and the 4th amino acid, then is continued by the 8th amino acid and so on....thus make the entire structure become helix like you can see in most of the biology books now...
