Do the roots produce hormones rhizogenicHello has all
During an experiment that we led to the laboratory we noticed that if we crush roots in distilled water and that then we immerse stems that will develop tufts very dense of root. We concluded that the roots can contain a hormone different from the auxines already known like AIA or gébéreline. Question: Do the roots produce hormones rhizogenic send answer to aply123@yahoo.fr thanks
do you mean what stimulates the cells to produce roots?
The name of the hormone? or are you saying it is a yet unknown? > Auxins< "How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and strong. Because someday in life you will have been all of these".
~ George washington Carver
As far as I remember polyphenols also boost roots to grow.

root's hormonesThank you for the answers.
For linn: I does not say that it is unknown, but here I give only the result of an experiment. Another report If we put the roots on a sheet soaked by the extract of the roots, the roots shows a negative geotropism. The roots behave like stems.
