StratificationTrying to complete an assignment and finding a few areas difficult to locate related information. Info is required on stratification. How does stratification relate to grape seeds. Any help or useful websites would be greatly appreciated.
Definately stratification: meaning is " The use of chemical and mechanical systems to break dormancy and increase germination ". I understand the principle, maybe a fire or a spell of really cold weather, or even an animal chewing on the sead coat to complete dormancy and the seed to commence germination. The bit I am lost with is how this actually relates to a GRAPE SEED.
