I NEED HELP!!!okay, i have looked all over the place for answers to these questions... i can't find them online or in the book. They are the only ones that i have left then i can send this test in.
1. A scientist gradually increases the amount of carbon dioxide available to a plant. The plant's rate of photosynthesis increases at first, but then levels off. What else might the plant need to furhter increase its rate of photosynthesis? 2a. How would the composition of earth's atmosphere change if green plants and other autotrophs disappeared? Explain why in terms of your knowledge of photosynthesis. 2b. How would animal life be affected by this atmospheric change? Explain why in terms of your knowledge of cellular respiration. Any help would be appreciated!!! Thank you.
I already did try to find the answer on my own.... i looked in the book and online but i can't find it.
Do you know what photosynthesis do? what part can be related to atmospheric gases? If not read again ALL the link given by Trev (yeah, scroll up....). And you should also know what is needed for ceel respiratio, shouldn't you?
And if you can't connect the dot, you really have a big problem, and it wouldn't be a service to give you the answer (but a brain sure would...). Patrick

yeah, don't let them get to you. people on this forum have grown tired of other people asking for answers, and since these questions are quite easy, i too doubt you would be unable to find the answers if you knew the processes of potosynthesis and cellular respiration. If i'm wrong, then please keep looking and you will find your answers

Yeah I can understand your point of view, I am rather new on this site as my name entails, I suppose it will take awhile for me to learn how to weed out those who want thier homework done from those and those who are asking questions for the sake of thier own interest. I'm a bleeding heart tho, I am willing to help out with the dumb questions as long as they are genuine
Our position is usually:
- people who ask a question and show that they have thought about it, either by giving a tentative answers, or because they explain what they do not understand get astraight answer. - Post that are obviously homework questions (easy to post, most of the time the posters just post the question) get some hints on where to start looking... at best. FenderXGirl, those questions can be answered by making a cup of coffee, siting down, getting out a notebook -clicking the tutorials at the top of the screen and reading while jotting down notes. =D
