The beginningHi there
Well our class has just started on evolution and I'm just wondering when we talk about Darwin's theorys and how we have evolved etc does this mean that people who believe in Adam and Eve don't believe in all this and say a christian studying this topic may study it but at the same time disregard it if you guys know what I mean I do not mean to offend anyone Thanks biology_06er
Oh lordy. Check out the Origin of Life thread to get a better idea of what you're getting into. For that matter... go through this evolution forum and look for any thread that's got over 100 posts in it, and read that as well... You'll understand.
I think that a general consensus we've reached here is that... there are many different ideas about evolution and creation and how the two could exist simultaneously etc. Some are scientific, others are... well that still hasn't been resolved What did the parasitic Candiru fish say when it finally found a host? - - "Urethra!!"
Re: The beginning
there are some who believe in both
Yes I really know waht you mean. I'm not christian but have the similar thing here too.At the uni. we are trying to organize a evolution conference. We talked nearly all microbiologists and zoologists but couldn't find ANYone who can tell us about protozoa evolution at the conference. Everyone has some other things to do at that day or they claim that they do not know ENOUGH (?!) to give a conference. Surprising, isn't it?

like me Generally speaking, the more people talk about "being saved," the further away they actually are from true salvation.

Not me I strongly disbelieve religion and culture.

and some even uses evolution to explain religion

That is interesting, but am MUY surprised? "How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and strong. Because someday in life you will have been all of these".
