algaei found that algae is really hard>.< i don't understand at all
and somehow i can't find some website about algal cell diagram to recoginse the organelles..... do anyone know what the difference between parenchyma and pseudoparenchyma is? (sorry, my eng is very bad...T_T)
red algae (Rhodophyta) are a large group of mostly multicellular, marine algae, including many notable seaweeds. Most of the coralline algae, which secrete calcium carbonate and play a major role in building coral reefs, belong here. Red algae such as dulse and nori are a traditional part of European and Asian cuisine and are used to make certain other products like agar and food additives.
parenchyma= The tissue characteristic of an organ, as distinguished from associated connective or supporting tissues. pseudoparenchyma= Thin-walled, usually angular, randomly-arranged cells in fungi, that are tightly packed together. Often used to form walls in specialized structures such as fruitbodies. They are similar in appearance to the parenchyma cells found in plants but different in origin, hence the prefix, pseudo- =false.

God bless everyone.
here are some more algae Cymatopleura sp. and Entomoneis sp. This diatom is capable of living in frigid Antarctic waters. Courtesy of Bowling Green State University Center for Algal Microscopy & Image Digitization.

What sort of diagrams do you need? Microphotographs, electrograms or just figures?? I have some schematic figures of every phyllum in my systematic botany textbook (if you're interested, send me a private message so I will translate labels into English). Recently I made the table summarising every algal phylla, because I take exam in systematic botany in September.
