JUNK DNA in Apes

I need to find out what the percentage of INTRONS is in Ape DNA. Junk DNA or Introns, whatever you choose to call it - has anyone done a complete mapping of the Ape DNA?If so what have the results been. Or have they only mapped the active genes and ingnored the introns?
How does the intron component in Apes compare to that in human DNA?
Do humans have less or more introns in respect to their DNA - or do apes make use ofmore of their DNA than humans?

Please help - need this for an article.
