emotions- extremity?Hallo All,
how is it that some of us express our emotions in an extreme manner. i mean getting really angry(hypertension) i mean if we are all made up of the same tissues, cells and stuff, why is it there are differences in the rate of exhibition of emotions. is it genetic? not always, right? Thanx in advance, VeenaandNivyah

Sometimes it is genetic, but the environment we live in also plays a key role...

some children are born with too much of anger, but how is that possible?
some are by nature sensitive and others too excited and happy. i mean from where do people basically derive their character? VeenaandNivyah
I don't know but the people getting quikly angry may have low minimum stimulation required to cause secretion of hypertension hormone [ adrenaline and others???].This minimum value can be inherited.
But , why do they become angry... similar way probably, the nerves [ or a specefic nerve group] may have lower minimum threshold stimulus. These thresholds may depend upon the concentrations of cytosol-contents. Membrane distribution of receptors- their density, sensivity.Properties of extracellular fluid. If you are getting bored reading this... don't feel that you are born bored... people often get bored when talking to me Shrei
I must disagree. The process of getting angry takes place at the level of your cerebral cortex and hipothalamus. it has nothing to do with peripherical nerves

There is physical and psychological background for this. Physical, it deals with the secretion of adrenalin including things affects it. It's response called "fight or flight reaction" can be various, one of them is anger. Psychological, it deals with environment, behavior, and life experience.
