URGENT HELP PLEASE: tgf-b GENE REGULATION

Postby sallywiski » Sat Dec 10, 2005 8:15 pm

Hi,
a simple question...I seem to have found contradicting evidence that TGF-B downregulates Cyclin A and thrombosporin-1, is it true?

I know that it upregulates type 1 collagen and CTGF but I stand unclear about cyclin A and TSP-1.
I would appreciate your help.
Thanks
Sally

TGF-B does downregulate cyclin A by increasing gene expression of p21, a cdk activating kinase inhibitor
