What is meant by spatial and temporal control? When referring to Protease function in a eukaryotic cell, there is a statement of, "protein degradation has a key regulatory role in many cellular pathways and must therefore be subject to spatial and temporal control."
Can anyone help me figure this out ASAP????? Thanks and Thanks!
That means that the expression of those protease must be regulated in space:
-which cells express proteases and in which organites are the proteases (to adress correctly proteins to be degraded) and in time: -when are proteases expressed, during organism development or during which activity (ex: digestion..) Patrick
