Postby fliams on Mon Oct 31, 2005 10:02 am

i am so much confused  , my hair is very oily. i experienced a pregnancy, and from then my hair became oily. at the time i was pregnant my hair was also oily but so did my face. now 9 months on, my hair is still oily and my face very dry. its funny. i cant understand. altough i try different products, nothing seem to work. could it be that my hormones are still recovering? :?

I think, yes your hormones are still recovering. But I heared that your hormones can change permanently after a pregnancy. I don't know if it is right or wrong. Maybe you can see a doctor if this is a disturbing thing for you.

I can't see what hormones would still be made in wrong quantities. The level of prolactine drops to normal 8 days after giving birth. Estrogen and progesteron secretion should also get back to normal after a few months tops. I have 3 questions:
1. Is your blood presure OK?
2. Do you drink a normal amount of water and excrete a normal amount of urine?
3. Did you breastfeed your baby?

By the way congratulations.. A child is a great thing...
