Which "some parts" of your body? You have to take hormones during the change so they will have an effect.

lol!Guess this is a question for transgendered people.
Of course if u go on hormone replacement therapy your body will change (eg. if u're a female and on testosterone you'll lose menstruation,your clitoris will enlarge and your body will become hairier,or if u're a man on estrogen your breasts will start to grow,loss of ejaculation...)
And about surgeries most do it cause of estetic. But guess most are on hormones before surgery so that's why're confused.
