No...no..no..no...not evaporate the saliva (saliva is expnsive you know..
Q: Why are chemists great for solving problems?
A: They have all the solutions.
OOOOOOOOO... I get it now
Well, everything in our body is either modulated by nervous system or hormones... "I have no intention of stopping anytime soon. I want to understand the universe and answer the big questions, that is what keeps me going" - Stephen Hawking
saliva contains ptyalin an enzyme which breaks down starch into maltose
in the buccal cavity { in simple terms the mouth } so actually carbohydrate or starch digestion begins in the mouth itself. actually all these health drinks containing glucose actually give us energy because of this as they r already ready to be absorbed they get absorbed in the mouth itself and r taken into the bloodstream via blood vessels
Please try to stay on topic...

Yup, you're right Andrew...hormone and nervous system are 1 level below the master...
no need to sorry, just watch the previous topic before posting... Q: Why are chemists great for solving problems?
A: They have all the solutions.
Oh by the way victor. I was thinking today about this post, only to realise the obvious. Angiotencyn II(the active form of the hormone) is one of the main stimulaters of the secretion of aldosteron. And, as we know(or should know
