Plants and root hairs

Imagine that you are a plant, swaying in the breeze..... U found out that u have lots of root hairs...... How will these root hairs help you?


More water and mineral salts will be absorbed.......
I'm able to stand upright......

That's basically it. The roots have more surface area so can absorb nutrients better.
