16S rRNA in E. coliHello!
I'm trying to find information about how many 16S rRNA "molecules" (I guess one could say transcripts instead) there are in an E. coli bacterium in general. One figure I've heard is between 10000-100000 copies but I've haven't been able to confirm it. Any information anyone? Thanks!
Yes, thanks! I actually came up with that idea myself when I had posted the question (of course), so you confirmed my idea!
