do you know lactophenol? i just know it is a microscopic reagent.and how about it?

I think that's used for the staining and microscopic identification of fungi

Yes, it is a mountant, especially for fungi.

Phenol - 10 g - dissolve in 10 mL distilled water, do not heat
Then add:
Glycerine - 10 mL
Lactic acid - 10 mL
