In drosophila, is the Dna ligase related with the process of crossing-over???????

Hmmmmmmm.....DNA ligase, in recombinant DNA technology, is an enzyme that seals together two DNA fragments from different sources to form a recombinant DNA molecule. I don' know exactly if it is involved in crossing over specifically too. I don't think so, but I don't know exactly.

DNA ligase is an enzyme in the semiconservative replication of DNA. I'm not sure crossing-over even requires enzymes...

i thought recombinant DNA was attached 2gether by the same restriction endonuclease used 2 break it. i never knew DNA ligases took part in anything but in the replication and repair of DNA. some1 correct me if i'm wrong plz.

I think the same also...crossing over doesn't have connection with DNA ligase
