DROSOPHILA..........In drosophila, is the Dna ligase related with the process of crossing-over???????
thks!!
Hmmmmmmm.....DNA ligase, in recombinant DNA technology, is an enzyme that seals together two DNA fragments from different sources to form a recombinant DNA molecule. I don' know exactly if it is involved in crossing over specifically too. I don't think so, but I don't know exactly.

DNA ligase is an enzyme in the semiconservative replication of DNA. I'm not sure crossing-over even requires enzymes...
