Trying to identify a flower...

Postby stereo glory on Fri Jul 08, 2005 1:52 pm

This isn't exactly an educational post, but I've been trying to find a flower that i haven't seen in a few years. I don't know the correct name for it, but I've only known it as "fairy pants". It is a small bush with white flowers that look like tiny pants hanging from the stem. (thus the term fairy pants). I'd love to find out the actual name, and if anyone has ever heard of or seen them before!

Search your local library for a "flower dichotomous key" that'll help you narrow it down

I found it in Nova Scotia, Canada. But I've only seen it in my own backyard. And as for the above post, my local library is very small with limited resources, and I am too far from my campus library to make use of it.
