multiple myeloma survivalive been recently searching about the survival rate of multiple myeloma cancer, but always come up with a different answer. the most consecutive one I got was 35.8 percetn. is that correct?
One of the reasons the answer varies is that those numbers may represent different populations, with different presentations and symptom combinations, different stages at diagnosis, probably some numbers associated with different treatments. It is hard to find "baseline" numbers, though.
