culuring soil microorganisms

Postby jk7 » Thu Jul 23, 2009 4:08 pm

Hi all-

I have a question- I'm planning on growing soil microorganisms in different liquid culture medias. I'll be doing this anaerobically and with nitrate as an electron acceptor. Should I be worried about the gases that might be created from using nitrate?

Any info would be appreciated!
Thanks
