Which compartments of cell are associated with the followingHello Biologists,
I am wondering if you could help me with two of the following: Q: Which compartments of a cell are associated with each of the following: a. clarthrin andsome vesicles: GOLGI COMPLEX b. calcium ions in the skeletal muscles: SARCOPLASTIC RETICULUM c. ribonuclease and lipase: ?????? I understand that lipase is an enzyme that hydrolyzes fat molecules, however where in a cell can it be found? d. Toxic compounds product of metabolism in a plant cell: VACUOLE e. unbound signal recognition particles: I understand that SRP can be found in the cytoplasm however where can unbound SRP be found?? Thank you for your time and any help you can offer. Newtobiology
c. which organelle is responsible for intracellular digestion?
e. well, do you when what the SRP binds to? "I have no intention of stopping anytime soon. I want to understand the universe and answer the big questions, that is what keeps me going" - Stephen Hawking
Re: Which compartments of cell are associated with the followingThank you for your help thus far, however I am still stuck on e.
I know that bound signal recognition particles are associated with ribosomes, however what about unbound signal recognition particles... would it be correct to assume that they are associated with just cytoplasm???!?!? Thank you for your help.
yeap. Make sure you understand and are confident in your own answers. Simple does not necessarily mean wrong.
