definition for the word/verb pellet

Hello I had to read a paper about Nestin protein ( a cell cytoskeleton protein) and the use the verb pellet alot and I could not find a good definition for this verb, Can anyone help me?
"and followin dialysis into H buffer, pelletable IF were formed, provided...)"
"In all cases,90-95% of the vimentin pelleted"
"Samples of similar assembly mixture were pelleted in an Airfuge, and the composition of the pelletable IF material was determined"

In cell/molecular biology, the noun 'pellet' means a solid and visible mass of molecules or particles (such as proteins, nucleic acids or cells), which is typically obtained from a liquid medium in a conical tube by centrifugation. Supernatant is the liquid phase atop of the pellet after centrifugation. Sometimes a pellet is formed after precipitation or other such event, if the precipitated molecule is sedimented to the bottom of the tube by gravity (the Earth is our centrifuge here).

As a verb 'pelleting' means that you make a pellet out of something, and the adjective 'pelletable' simply means something one can make pellets out of.
