Can someone please explain to me about megaspores?I've read the part about megaspores in my text book ten times. I've looked at the definition of megaspores in my biology dictionary (didn't really help). I've looked on the internet but it was full of confusing jargon.
Please explain to me in the simplest terms possible about what the ovule is, how it relates to megaspores and what megaspores do, like how they divide and what they divide into and such. Please help!!! Thankyou
That's a lot of typing, if you could break the question down a bit and be specific about what you don't understand it will be much easier and you will get more replies.
A wise man once said to me:
"Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life." Only the fittest chickens cross the road.
Basically, I want to know what an ovule is.
Also, I want to know what a megaspore is, what it does, and how it works.
Re: Can someone please explain to me about megaspores? What did the parasitic Candiru fish say when it finally found a host? - - "Urethra!!"
Re: Can someone please explain to me about megaspores?look, when u come across mega word it refers to female .now it will be clear to u what megaspore mother cell mean.it is simply the mother cell that give 4 daughter mega[female]gamete on meiotic division.among them only one is funtional.this funtional megaspore is called ovule.now this ovule take part in fertilization and ultimately give rise to zygote and the tradion continues.......
