Comparing digestive systems in invertebratesCompare the digestive systems of planarian to that of Ascaris, and how does a planarian's digestive system resemble a cnidarian(jellyfish)?
Try to find a general zoology textbook by Tracy Storer (McGraw-Hill). A good librarian can direct you to a source. Any edition will do for your purposes.
Good Luck, and happy learning.
Digestive system of planarian is incomplete with a single opening for ingestion as well as egestion.
Digestive system of Ascaris is complete with mouth at one end and anus at the other. Digestive system of planarian resembles that of a cnidarian because both are blind, bag like with a single opening and few other similarities.
