help with fruit fly genetic analysisare apterous (no wings) fruit flies ressessive? or are they sex-linked?
my F1 are all wild my F2 have 4 aptreou out of my 42 wild. i forgot to check if the 4 aptrous flies were male or females. i need to a way to determine the genetic genetopye of my fruit flies. since my F1 are all wild, am assuming they are either homozygouse wild or hetrozygouse ressessive for the apeterous gene. assuming i have hetrozygouse, then i would have 25% apterous genes in my F2. i seem to have 10% apterous gene. what is going on?
