Molecules WITHIN cellsHi all!
I got a question regarding molecules WITHIN cells. I would like to know, what molecules are the most popular in a normal non-sexual cell... And what type of molecules are the most used....i guess obviously the protein but what are the proportions of the other types of molecules. Thanks! Best regards Alexander
Re: Molecules WITHIN cellsJust in terms of number of molecules, I would expect water to be the most abundant of the intracellular molecules. Certainly there is a lot of other stuff taking up space in there, but even though there might not be much bulk water, pretty much all of that other stuff has some waters of hydration at least.
Re: Molecules WITHIN cellsThanks!
Yes even though there is a lot of actin involed in the cytostructure I do believe that water is the most dominant molecule in a cell
