lipids helphello, i was wondering if anyone would be able to help me. what does the term polarity mean in the context of lipids.
is it like hydrophobic and hydrophillic, all that stuff. im new to this lol xxx
I find it a little bit difficult to explain it in English, but you have a lipid doublelayer where polar regions are on the inner and the outer side of a cell, while hydrophobic regions are turned to one another... Those polar regions consist of phosphorus' groups, while hydrophobic regions consist of fat acids...
