HELP!!!!! Microarrays, molecular cloning

You have been hired to develop a system of Bio-sentinel flowers (this is an actual funded project via homeland security). The idea is that when the plant is exposed to a specific biohazadous compound it will produce red flowers (they normally produce only yellow flowers). Assuming that any technique that works in Drosophila will work in your plants; devise a strategy to carry out the project. Your answer should involve: microarrays, use of molecular cloning, generation of transgenic organisms, enhancer trap analysis.
